Personas and Client Avatars. Let’s Create ’em!

Lesson 3 is all about Who!

In order to target the right audience or niche you need to access who those people might be. (Or who those dogs or cats may be if you know of some highly intelligent fur friends!)

A persona is an imaginary person who’ll be your target client or customer. The first thing you may be tempted to do is jot down a few things off the top of your head about who this might be, some of their personality traits and motivations. Well… I’ve got news for you. The top of your head only belongs to you and there are not hordes of you’s roaming around the planet.

With that in mind, it’s best to do a wee bit ‘o research and find out how those folks really think. You’ll be surprised!
